MultiX provides spectroscopic x-ray imaging solutions and detection subsystems for airport security and non-destructive testing applications. Its systems enable efficient baggage security checks, reduce operating costs for airports, and improve passenger comfort by making it possible for liquids to be carried during air travel. In non-destructive testing the subsystems allow improved discrimination of unwanted objects in the food processing industry; MultiX also operates in the food processing and recycling sectors. The company supplies its technology to integrator clients. It plans to use the newly raised funds to begin production at its Moirans plant in Isère and to continue international expansion, targeting Europe after the United States.
