MusicList aggregates playlists and songs from leading streaming services into a cross-device, ad-free listening experience and uses algorithms to create and update thematic lists. The startup says it generates traffic to services like Spotify and YouTube and aims to be an additional revenue source for artists and producers. It reports more than one million unique users across 190+ countries a little over a year after launch. Founded in 2017 in Barcelona by Jordi Pallarés, the project began with an initial €3,100 and today has a team of eight. MusicList plans to use new funding to integrate additional streaming platforms, expand playlists and songs, and consolidate growth toward a target of over 1.5 million unique users this year.
