Muy operates a hybrid cloud-kitchen and physical-restaurant model paired with a “smart chef” AI system that forecasts demand to optimize production and reduce food waste. Users place personalized orders through Muy’s app or at one of its physical locations. The company currently operates 20 physical dining locations and says it is serving more than 200,000 dishes per month. Muy positions itself as a fast, fresh and personalized alternative to traditional casual dining in high-density Latin American cities. The startup is expanding geographically from Colombia into Mexico and plans to enter Brazil soon. Its founder, Jose Calderon, has prior experience in the takeaway sector, having previously raised and exited a Colombian online food ordering business to Delivery Hero.
