Music World Media (MWM) is a France-based publisher of music-focused mobile applications. Founded in 2012 by Jean-Baptiste Hironde and Nicolas Dupré, the company has recorded over 400 million app downloads. MWM plans to use the fresh funding to expand its product suite beyond music into 'creativity at large' and to position itself as the 'Adobe of mobile creativity apps'. The company aims to double its workforce to 140 people by the end of the year across offices in Paris and Bordeaux. Financially, MWM has just completed a €50 million Series B following a prior €10 million raise. Founders Hironde and Dupré remain the majority shareholders.
