Founded in 2017 by Ryan Marincowitz and based in Kenya, the startup facilitates medical access across Africa and beyond. It says it assists more than 1,200 patients monthly, has helped over 27,000 patients to date, and works with more than 1,500 medical professionals and health facilities. The company reported month-on-month patient visit growth averaging 11% in 2022. MyHealth Africa plans to continue rapid expansion across Africa and to launch operations in the Middle East and South Asia in 2023. The platform positions itself to address medical-tourism-driven demand and low doctor-to-patient ratios in the region.
