Overview

Mya Systems provides a conversational AI recruitment chatbot that automates sourcing, candidate screening, scheduling and post-hire engagement for staffing agencies and large employers. Its mobile-first chatbot engages applicants, schedules interviews and captures candidate data integrated with ATS/CRM/HRIS systems such as Bullhorn, Workday and SAP SuccessFactors. The company reports more than 460 brands using its tools, including six of the eight largest staffing agencies and 29 of the Fortune 100, and says it has scheduled over 400,000 interviews. Mya saw 3x customer subscription growth in 2019 and sells its product in more than 35 countries across North America, EMEA and APAC, with teams in the US and Europe. The company plans to use new funding to deepen integrations, expand use cases across the recruiting funnel, enhance conversational capabilities, improve self-service conversation design, and strengthen infrastructure to support international scaling. It emphasizes compliance with employment and data-protection regulations and says it employs processes to check for bias in its systems. Mya Systems offers Mya, an AI recruiter that automates outreach and communications with candidates across the end-to-end recruiting process using proprietary NLP and machine-learning techniques. The company recently introduced AI-based automated candidate sourcing that engages passive candidates, matches them to roles, and schedules interviews. That sourcing technology delivers 45% response rates—about 10 times higher than traditional manual approaches—while also refreshing and engaging existing databases. Mya is adding multi-lingual support beginning in 2018 to serve clients across the U.S., Europe, and the Asia‑Pacific. The product targets high-volume, high-turnover hiring segments and applies advanced matching and predictive models to shortlist candidates and prioritize recruiter time. Recent customer traction includes ten new Fortune 500 accounts, support for 15 of the largest light industrial employers in the U.S., three of the industry's five largest recruiting agencies, and a three-year global partnership with The Adecco Group. Mya Systems offers a machine intelligence–powered bot that centralizes and automates repetitive aspects of high-volume recruiting for retail, warehouse and call-center jobs. The product uses natural language processing to pose questions to applicants, determine shift availability, assist with scheduling calls, and collect candidate information quickly. Mya targets agencies and large employers that hire tens or even hundreds of thousands of hourly workers, creating economies of scale for recruiters. At scale the company aims to centralize recruiting across multiple companies and reduce reliance on agencies. The company also highlights user-facing benefits such as interview reminders that improve applicant outcomes. Mya plans to use its newly raised capital to build out its technical team and move into a larger office to accommodate new hires.
