Mykonos builds security software whose Web Security product uses deception to detect, confuse, slow down and prevent attackers in real time. The product is designed to help companies protect websites and web apps and to proactively prevent fraud and theft. The company recently moved its headquarters to the heart of Silicon Valley and also maintains offices in New York. Mykonos has secured funding to support its operations, having raised $4 million in a Series A. The Series A was led by previous backer Tom Golisano and included new investors Scott Banister, Jeff Clarke and Mike Jones.
