Mysthera Therapeutics is developing first-in-class oral therapeutics targeting PIM kinases to treat complex autoimmune diseases. Its pipeline consists of pre-clinical pan-PIM kinase inhibitors that were in-licensed from Inflection Biosciences Ltd. The company says PIM kinases act as gateway kinases across multiple immune cell lineages and may contribute to tertiary lymphoid structure formation linked to disease severity. PIM kinase inhibition is intended to selectively modulate multi-lineage immune cell function. Mysthera is led by CEO Darren Cunningham and SVP R&D Dr. Stefan Haak. The company raised seed funding to advance its pre-clinical portfolio.
