Overview
MYTH AI is a design-focused generative AI company (founded by Özgecan Üstgül) whose proprietary, licensed-data-trained models produce unique, production-ready patterns instantly. The platform can generate hundreds of designs in about four seconds and claims to speed design workflows by up to 90%. It combines trend-based category and color learning with features from AI-assisted color separation to seamless pattern generation. MYTH AI prioritizes design ownership and certification, using blockchain and NFT infrastructure to help protect intellectual property and keep creators in control. The technology aims to reduce waste and scale sustainable design processes for brands and manufacturers. The company has been selected for the Artificial Intelligence Future Leaders Fellowship and was among 25 startups chosen for the Big Bang London Demo Day. MYTH AI is positioning to expand into Southeast Asia to contribute to fashion’s AI transformation. Myth AI builds artificial-intelligence-driven pattern design and archive programs tailored to textile, home textile, carpet, ceramic, wallpaper, NFT and metaverse companies. Its products aim to increase design efficiency and creativity for firms in these sectors. The company has set an explicit growth target of 20x by 2025 and expects to leverage its recent partnership to scale. Basefy invested in Myth AI to support product development and go-to-market expansion and will provide CTOaaS and innovation-lab resources. Basefy’s support includes technical team management, design thinking, prototyping, research, data analysis and product-building services. The collaboration is pitched as accelerating Myth AI’s digital-transformation role within the pattern-design and related industries. Myth.AI is an artificial-intelligence pattern design platform led by CEO and founder Özgecan Üstgül. Its core product generates fabric patterns, textures, and motifs from visual or text prompts and helps designers simulate look and feel in virtual environments. The tool aims to reduce unsellable inventory, minimise waste, accelerate the design process from days to seconds, and lower the need for physical samples and prototypes. It enables digital experimentation and personalization to inform decisions before physical garment production and to enhance inclusivity. Brands deploying the technology include Ratti, Telater, Sun Textile, Elyaf Textile, Gama Textile, Zorlu Textile, Halmer Fabric and Vitra. The company plans to use the seed funding to drive operations in the UK and explore new markets.
