MyWorkpapers (MWP) is a market-leading cloud-based platform that helps accounting firms of all sizes—including members of the Big Four—complete client workpaper files for monthly and quarterly management accounts, year-end accounts and audits. Founded in 2009 with its first beta product launched in 2010, the product combines collaboration-based workflow management and structured, systematised digital workpapers that support financial statement outputs. The platform is used across the UK, Europe and Australia and recently signed a licensing agreement with DATEV eG for mainland Europe. MWP was self-funded since conception prior to this round. The company will use the £3.4m investment to accelerate growth, drive product innovation and development, and focus on sales growth.
