Overview
Founded in Bengaluru in 2023, Nabhdrishti Aerospace is developing a family of small gas turbines built around a shared core to serve unmanned aircraft, light aviation and industrial/defence power applications. Its product lineup includes the ND350 (a 275 kW turbogenerator / 350 SHP turboprop), the ND400 turbojet (400 N thrust, 95,000 rpm, 3.95 kg, operating to Mach 0.85 and 10,000 metres) and the ND2000 targeting up to 2 MW for industrial and defence users. The company emphasizes fuel flexibility — including exploration of green hydrogen — and has focused early work on a fuel-flexible combustor and injector testing. The three co-founders, Rohit Chouhan (CEO), Arjun Srivatsa and Antanu Sadhu, bring experience from General Electric, Rolls-Royce and the DRDO's Gas Turbine Research Establishment. Nabhdrishti aims to generate near-term industrial revenue while advancing aviation engines, and has stated a goal of becoming India's leading propulsion provider by 2032. As of January 2026 the ND400 completed a first run; flight trials and commercial revenue had not been announced.
