Nabt
Hanifa Valley St Al Olaya, Riyadh, Ar Riyad, 12214, Saudi Arabia
Overview
Founded in 2022 by Abdullah Alotaibi, Nabt is building both the physical and digital infrastructure for Saudi Arabia’s fresh-produce sector. Its core product is a B2B marketplace that links farmers with businesses, supported by fulfillment centers that handle sorting, grading, packaging, cold storage, and last-mile temperature-controlled logistics. The company recently launched the Nabt Online Auction to facilitate large-scale produce trading and Nabt Intel to deliver real-time pricing and demand data, giving farmers better price discovery and businesses live market insights. Operating from a warehouse hub in Riyadh, Nabt is rolling out additional hubs in major Saudi cities to extend nationwide coverage. The startup’s platform aims to increase farmer profitability, secure consistent high-quality supply for businesses, and bolster the Kingdom’s food security in alignment with Vision 2030. Nabt plans to broaden its fresh-produce portfolio, grow its customer base across Saudi Arabia, and reinforce its operational infrastructure with the newly raised capital. To date, the company has secured $5 million in total funding, including the latest seed extension round. With the Saudi fresh-produce market estimated at $19 billion in 2024 and projected to reach $24 billion by 2029, Nabt positions itself as foundational infrastructure for this expanding sector.
