Nala builds a stablecoin-powered payments architecture that includes a consumer neobank application and “Rafiki,” a proprietary B2B payment infrastructure API. The platform connects commercial software networks to real-time financial systems and automates payment processing and payouts. Nala’s network spans 249 banking networks and 26 mobile money systems across 16 countries. The company plans to expand its cross-border payment corridors and accelerate onboarding of enterprise contracts in the US, Europe and emerging markets. Leadership is headed by Founder and CEO Benjamin Fernandes, with Nicolas Esteves as CTO and Nicolai Eddy as COO. The recent up-to-$50M debt facility will provide working capital to pre-fund larger business accounts and support those growth initiatives.
