nami is a Singapore-based multi-sensing platform and ecosystem enabler for the Internet of Things industry. It offers a full-stack platform that ingests raw sensor data, augments it into actionable metadata, and uses that data to trigger automation across IoT environments, enabling presence, motion and situation-aware services. Over the past two years nami has developed a platform for software-based sensing applications, including sensing topologies and associated intellectual property. The company targets deployments across residential and commercial buildings and plans geographic expansion to three continents. nami says it will use the $10.5M Series A financing to expand its team and its geographical presence to deploy its digital sensing infrastructure. The company was co-founded by Jean-Eudes and Jérôme Leroy; investors in the round include Verizon Ventures, Amavi Capital, INSPiRE and Aconterra.
