NanoCellect Biomedical develops microfluidic cell sorting technologies and manufactures the WOLF cell sorter and N1 single cell plate dispenser for cell-based assays. Its products use proprietary microfluidic technology to help researchers perform antibody discovery, cell line development, genomic sample preparation and CRISPR genomic editing faster, safer, and without contamination. The company is led by President and CEO and co-founder Jose Morachis, Ph.D. In November 2017 NanoCellect completed a $10M Series B financing that included convertible notes. The proceeds will be used to expand commercial activities and accelerate efforts in cell line development, genomic sample preparation, CRISPR gene editing and antibody discovery. As part of the financing, Alexis Ji of Illumina Ventures joined NanoCellect’s board.
