Nanological S.L. is a medical‑technology spin‑off from the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM‑CSIC) that develops point‑of‑care devices for rapid disease diagnosis, with a focus on early sepsis detection. The company is led by CEO Blanca Caballero and was founded with researcher Daniel Ramos as a promoting partner; it is based in the Parque Científico de Madrid. Nanological will use the €600,000 raised in its first round of financing, led by Clave Capital through the Clave Innohealth f.c.r., to accelerate development of its sepsis diagnostic product line. Earlier the company obtained €325,000 in public funding via the CDTI NEOTEC 2022 program. Nanological has participated in acceleration programs including Dinamiza and HealthStart 2020, and has won awards such as the Innovatia 8.3 best technology‑based business project (2022) and the 'Health to Market' prize from FPCM and EIT Health Spain. It was recently selected as one of ten participants in the Scale‑up EEN Madrid international scaling program.
