Nanomade
2 place Pierre Potier, Toulouse, Midi-Pyrenees, 31100, France
Overview
After 15 years of R&D and with 20 patents, Nanomade develops a patented printable ink that, when printed on a flexible substrate, detects and measures nanoscale micro‑deformations (touch, force, pressure, weight, intensity). The company positions its core product as the world’s first tactile quantum sensor according to the manufacturer. Nanomade is building an automated 500 m² production facility in Toulouse to move from prototyping to mass production. The new plant will control manufacturing end‑to‑end (plasma, printing generation, encapsulation, laser cutting) and is intended to multiply current output by 50, from 20,000 units today to over 1 million units by 2025. Proceeds from the recent raise will fund hires (a Director of Industry and Quality and three production staff), ongoing R&D and commercialization. Nanomade aims to expand its commercial footprint internationally, notably in the United States and Asia.
