525 Executive Boulevard, Elmsford, New York, 10523, United States

Overview

NanoVibronix develops medical devices that use proprietary low-intensity surface acoustic wave (SAW) therapeutic ultrasound technology for wound healing and catheter applications. Its first commercial product, PainShield MD, has FDA clearance and CE Mark certification and is marketed for tendonitis, muscle pain and trigeminal neuralgia. The company has also developed disposable ultrasound devices aimed at preventing catheter-associated infection and injury, including the CE-marked UroShield and an NG-Shield for nasogastric tubes; UroShield is the subject of independent clinical trials in Europe and the Middle East. NanoVibronix is targeting the large global wound care market (estimated at $22.8 billion by 2017) and seeks to address chronic, non-healing wounds driven by an aging population and rising diabetes incidence. The firm is led by CEO Dr. Harold Jacob and is located in Nesher, Israel. Tegal’s recent strategic investment is intended to accelerate the company’s corporate growth plans.
