NanoView Biosciences is a Boston-based, privately held company that develops the ExoView system for detection and characterization of exosomes and other extracellular vesicles. The ExoView system is an instrument-and-consumables platform designed to efficiently and accurately detect and fully characterize extracellular vesicles without purification or large sample volumes. ExoView is positioned as a high-throughput, cost-effective analysis platform intended for life science researchers to study exosome biology and explore their use as biomarkers. The company plans to launch the ExoView platform into research markets in early 2019 and subsequently develop tools for clinical markets. NanoView completed a $10 million Series B financing to complete development of the ExoView system and prepare the product for commercial launch. Existing investors Sands Capital Ventures and PBM Capital Group participated in the round.
