30 Rue Jan Palach, Couëron, Pays de la Loire, 44220, France
Overview
Naonext develops man-machine interaction solutions for interactive digital arts, designing both custom scenic solutions for professional artists and series interfaces. Its flagship product, the Crystal Ball, is a movement-based interface that uses optical sensors sensitive to distance and speed to control MIDI synthesizers and creation software. The Crystal Ball controls samples, effects, lights and videos and is USB plug'n'play compatible with Ableton Live, Serato, Logic Studio and Max/MSP. The company raised €170K in seed funding from angels associated with ABAB (Atlantic Business Angels Booster) and intends to use the proceeds to develop and commercialize the Crystal Ball. Naonext is based in Couëron, France and was co-founded by Benjamin Fournier, Thomas Laurenson and Charles Vo Khac Minh. It currently markets the device via the Michenaud music store in Nantes and through the Woodbrass e-commerce site.
