Navimize provides a virtual waiting room that integrates with EHRs, pulls scheduling and real-time tracking data, and applies algorithms to predict delays and send patients text messages. The platform also aims to right-size appointment times and handle variable clinical workflows across specialties. Its solution is integrated into athenahealth EHRs and is live in practices in at least six states, including Tennessee-based CovenantCare Practices. The company was founded in 2016 by Dr. Jennifer Meller and Kavita Mangal and is based in New York City. Navimize won the Pitch Perfect competition at MedCity’s INVEST Digital Health conference, and the team says the platform became a must-have during the COVID-19 era to limit crowds. The company has raised $1.3 million on convertible notes and is now raising a $3 million equity seed round while pursuing its first health system contract in the Southwest.
