Overview
Navya develops and manufactures the Autonom autonomous shuttle and is working on a smaller Autonom Cab for upcoming tests. The company has produced 100 shuttles to date and sold 89 across 17 countries, including the US, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and Australia. Navya says it will use new funding to strengthen technological leadership, expand sales and marketing teams, invest in strategic adjacent markets, and pursue further international expansion. The company went public on Euronext Paris on July 24, raising €38 million in the IPO. Its market capitalization is currently €188.8 million, slightly below its €190 million debut. Navya has raised €80 million in total this year, including the recent European Investment Bank financing. Navya develops the Arma, a fully electric, autonomous shuttle designed to carry up to 15 passengers and reach speeds of about 45 km/h (28 mph). The company has vehicles deployed in a public transportation project in Lyon and reports other strategic agreements. It plans to manufacture and roll vehicles out in the Middle East in partnership with Qatari investor Group8 and aims to have 30 vehicles in use by the end of this year. Navya raised funding to build out its team, technology and sales amid growing competition in autonomous shuttles. Prior to this round it had raised $4.5M (€4.1M) from Gravitation, CapDecisif, and Robolution Capital. The company positions itself with strategic industry partners to optimize costs and accelerate international deployment.
