Neighbourly operates a technology platform that enables businesses to contribute staff time, money and excess products to verified local charities and community groups, helping firms meet ESG targets. The platform reports an estimated 7.6 million people are being helped each week across the UK and Ireland and supports over 20,000 community organisations. Corporate users include Virgin Media, O2, Sainsbury’s, Getir, Boden, Gallagher and the FCA. Neighbourly was founded in 2014 and was recently awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the innovation category. The company plans to use new funding to hire staff and invest in brand and product development to reach more businesses and local communities. To date Neighbourly has raised £8m, including a £3m Series A in March of last year.
