Neo is a workplace software platform built from the ground up to integrate project management, documents, file storage and generative AI into a single product. Launched internally in April, it has been used across founder Bhavin Turakhia’s companies, including Zeta, while preparing a public rollout targeting mid-sized technology, consulting and professional services firms. The company is based in Bengaluru and currently employs about 45 people, with plans to expand to roughly 100 employees by year-end and concentrate new hires in AI and software engineering. Neo is model-agnostic, allowing enterprises to switch between AI models rather than being tied to a single provider. The startup was developed rapidly—Turakhia said its initial platform was built in three months using AI in the development process. Its current financial position is founder-funded: Turakhia is backing the business with $30 million of his own money and has not reported outside investment or a valuation.
