Overview
NEOGAP Therapeutics AB is building an autologous cell therapy platform called personalised Tumour Trained Lymphocytes (pTTL), which amplifies a patient’s own tumour-reactive T cells to fight cancer. The therapy combines the company’s proprietary PIOR and EpiTCer technologies with advanced DNA sequencing to create a precision, patient-specific product for solid tumours. NEOGAP is currently running a first-in-human Phase I/II trial evaluating safety and tolerability of pTTL in patients with advanced colorectal cancer; several patients have already been treated and initial safety data indicate good tolerability. Sweden’s Medical Products Agency has authorised dosing all study participants at the full dose, enabling a more efficient trial design. In parallel, the company has used support from its EU EIC grant to develop a scaled manufacturing plan together with CDMO NorthX Biologics in preparation for later-stage studies and commercialisation. Recent exploratory clinical signals are described as promising, and management is preparing for the next step in clinical development. No revenue or user metrics were disclosed in the article.
