Core House, Link Road, Ballincollig, Cork, P31 E446, Ireland
Overview
NeuroBell develops LUNA, a battery-powered, WiFi-connected neonatal electroencephalogram (EEG) system that provides bedside, clinical-grade brain monitoring. LUNA features an eight-channel EEG amplifier, 10-20 EEG electrode placement for neonates, a two-button setup to begin recording, and continuous impedance checks. The system offers automated neonatal seizure detection to support quicker identification of seizures and decision-making by NICU staff. NeuroBell says LUNA enables quick setup and recording for NICU teams regardless of size or location and supports continuous monitoring at the bedside. The company is based in Cork, Ireland, and is anticipating FDA clearance in the coming months. NeuroBell raised $5.5 million in a financing led by Elkstone, with participation from Parkview Health and existing investors to support clinical deployment and U.S. market entry.
