New Leaf Dynamic Technologies builds cold-chain solutions centered on a biomass-powered refrigeration unit designed to replace conventional compressor technologies. The company raised ₹6.15 crore in equity in a pre-Series A round from US-based Good Ventures LLC and previously received seed funding and incubation support from Social Alpha and Indigram Labs Foundation. It plans to strengthen India’s cold-chain infrastructure, reduce post-harvest losses, and expand its product portfolio. New Leaf intends to scale distribution by making its biomass-powered units available to more channel partners serving India’s rural cold chain. The company provides access to finance for end-users—farmers and farmer-producer companies—through loan guarantees with banks and financial partners, and offers ground-level hand-holding to build storage infrastructure near farms or aggregation points. New Leaf currently supports 15,000 farmers and aims to impact the livelihoods and incomes of more than 200,000 small and marginal farmers in the next three years.
