Nexgate (formerly Social iQ Networks) offers a SaaS enterprise suite to discover, protect, and ensure compliance for all social accounts associated with a company or brand. Launched in 2012 by CEO Devin Redmond and based in San Francisco, the platform is used by over a dozen multinational and enterprise customers across financial services, pharmaceuticals, internet security, manufacturing, media & entertainment, and retail. The company raised $3.5M in a Series A financing led by Sierra Ventures. Mark Fernandes, Managing Director at Sierra Ventures, joined Nexgate’s board as part of the round. Nexgate plans to use the funds to accelerate technology innovation and expand commercialization efforts.
