Next Electric Motors is developing electric two‑wheelers, launching the Next NX1 scooter with a removable battery that can be recharged from a household outlet. The NX1 has a 60 km range and a motor equivalent to a 50 cc gasoline scooter, with an indicated energy cost of €0.30 per 100 km. The company plans to begin manufacturing the NX1 in autumn and will also offer a two‑battery variant priced higher. Pricing is set at €2,199 for the single‑battery NX1 and €2,499 for the dual‑battery model. Next Electric Motors progressed through Lanzadera’s incubation program in Valencia and received accelerator support aimed at the commercial launch. Financial support from the accelerator includes €32,000 in the second incubation phase and earlier €500 grants per project during the first phase.
