Overview
NH TherAguix is a French startup focused on nanomedicine to enhance cancer radiotherapy. Its lead drug candidate, AGuIX, is an IV-administered nanometric product that combines tumor targeting, MRI imaging and a radiosensitizing treatment effect. The technology fits the theranostics concept—combining therapy and diagnostics—and is positioned within personalized medicine. A Phase 1 trial evaluated post-injection tolerance, MRI contrast enhancement and early evidence of radiosensitization in patients with brain metastases; the company is entering a Phase 2 multicentric trial involving 100 patients. A separate Phase 1 trial for advanced cervical cancer is ongoing at the Gustave Roussy Institute. The company was founded in December 2015 by Géraldine Le Duc (CEO) and Olivier Tillement (CSO) and is backed by Pulsalys. NH TherAguix closed a €13M Series A led by Bpifrance.
