Nia Health develops clinical diagnosis and therapy systems and digital medical apps (including Nia for atopic dermatitis and Sorea for psoriasis) that combine machine vision, natural language processing and teledermatology. The company is a Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin spin-off and works closely with German patient associations and leading clinicians. Its machine-vision approach enables accurate documentation of disease and therapy progression and optimized treatment, and its digital products were the first of their kind to be approved worldwide. Nia Health already provides daily support for thousands of patients and has customers in the insurance and pharmaceutical industries. The company plans to use new funding to expand market share in German-speaking countries, launch in other EU countries within the next 24 months, prepare for U.S. market entry, and further develop its AI-based technology.
