NightBalance develops and markets the Sleep Position Trainer (SPT), a chest-worn device that measures sleep position and gently nudges users to avoid supine positional obstructive sleep apnea. The SPT is CE-marked since 2012 and is currently sold in 11 European countries. NightBalance cites a wealth of clinical data demonstrating the device’s efficacy and improved patient compliance. The company plans to intensify commercial rollout across Europe and prepare entry into the U.S. market. Preparations include further U.S. clinical studies guided by Prof. Dr. David P. White and a planned U.S. FDA 510(k) filing. NightBalance is led by founder and CEO Eline Vrijland-van Beest and has recently strengthened its board and management with industry hires.
