Ninecamp Ventures, founded by Chaitanya Mathur, develops brands aimed at reflecting changing Indian consumer preferences with global standards in product, service, design, and ingredients. The company emphasizes experiential dining and crafting brands for and from India. It opened its first restaurant, Marièta, a Latin American–inspired restaurant and bar, at Two Horizon Center in Gurugram in April. Ninecamp recently raised $2 million in a seed funding round from well-known angel and non-institutional investors. The company plans to deploy the capital to hire top talent, acquire premium real estate, grow its portfolio of brands, and fund the creation of novel ideas and products. Mathur was previously involved in creating Zomaland.
