NineID (Nine Engineering BV), founded in 2020 by Roy Jeunen and Frederik Keysers in Ghent, Belgium, offers a digital platform to help companies manage external contractors efficiently and securely. The platform centralizes identity verification, safety certificate management, digital briefings, audit logs, and timed access permissions. It is used by more than forty multinationals, including BASF, Alpro, and Pfizer, and supports over 87,000 users and more than 10,000 contractors. The company will use the funds to strengthen its presence across the European market. NineID raised €3.5 million in the funding round announced in July 2025. The round was led by Pitchdrive with participation from returning investor Entourage and investment firm Aconterra. NineID offers a SaaS platform that centralizes user identification, certificates, and training documentation to make records easily accessible for audits.
