Via Piero Gobetti 2/C, Cernusco sul Naviglio, Lombardy, 20063, Italy
Overview
Niulinx originated as a spin-off from the AIDA (Artificial Intelligence Driving Autonomous) research group at Politecnico di Milano and is led by CEO Luca Foresti. The company develops autonomous driving technology, including a Remote Supervision system credited as part of its core stack. Niulinx has grown from an initial research team of about 10 people to over 60 researchers and engineers involved in development and testing. Its technology has been road-validated through milestones such as the first autonomous mile in Brescia, high-speed V2X demos in Napoli, and deployments including an autonomous shuttle in Milano. The team has also demonstrated at events like Mille Miglia, Vallecamonica Hillclimb, Cisco Live and Expo 2025. Financially, Niulinx announced a €38 million raise viewed as a historic funding event for Italy's autonomous driving sector to support commercial scaling and wider street deployments.
