Led by CEO Thomas Holm Pedersen, the company focuses on discovering proprietary modulators of neuromuscular function using enabling technologies, in vivo pharmacology models, and muscle physiology know-how. Its lead program is NMD670, a ClC-1 inhibitor advancing into clinical trials. The company raised €75M in a Series B to fund near-term clinical development. Proceeds will be used to complete three Phase 2 studies evaluating NMD670 in AChR- and MuSK-antibody positive myasthenia gravis, spinal muscular atrophy, and Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease. NMD Pharma also plans to expand its pipeline of ClC-1 inhibitor molecules, pursue additional undisclosed neuromuscular targets, and grow its clinical and commercial operations in Denmark and the US.
