NocoDB provides an open-source no-code layer that connects directly to production databases (Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB) and data warehouses, letting non-technical teams build workflows and apps without SQL. Its interface converts live organizational data into a spreadsheet-like experience that supports collaboration between business users and developers. The project has seen strong adoption: the core open-source project has been used by more than 2,000 companies including Google, Walmart, American Express and McAfee, and the project recorded 7 million Docker downloads in its first year and more than 30,000 GitHub stars.
