Overview
Nodexus develops the NX One platform, an integrated system that uses microfluidic cartridges, hardware, and software to provide automated single-cell analysis, sorting, and dispensing. The NX One is positioned as a walk-up, affordable solution intended to broaden access to cell sorting beyond centralized facilities by reducing the need for expert technicians and large capital investments. Target applications called out include gene editing, cancer biology research, bioprocessing, cell line and antibody development, CRISPR engineering, single-cell genomics, and synthetic biology. The company plans to expand manufacturing of the NX One and build commercialization capabilities and its product pipeline to meet growing demand. Leadership is scaling: concurrent with the financing the company appointed William Rhodes to its board to help scale commercial operations. Nodexus emphasizes democratizing biological tools for startups, academic labs, and large life science firms. The company emerged from stealth announcing this funding and commercial expansion plans.
