Nodus Oncology is a biotech company developing molecules that inhibit novel DNA damage response (DDR) targets, including a PARG program acquired from Basilea Pharmaceutica. The company focuses on so-called “third-wave” DDR targets believed to play important roles in the response to DNA damage. Nodus plans to accelerate development of its PARG program in collaboration with Lead Discovery Center GmbH (LDC). It also intends to continue discovery and development of additional novel DDR targets and expand its portfolio. The company is led by CEO Ian Waddell and was founded in September 2022. Nodus recently raised £2.4M to fund these near-term development activities.
