Nomos became a fully operational, licensed, and regulated electricity retailer earlier this summer and is already supplying households across Germany. It has onboarded its first B2B customers and positions its product to enable smart charging and heating while shifting consumption to periods with higher renewable generation. The startup says its model creates recurring subscription revenue for partners and aims to deliver hyper-transparent, cost-saving plans to challenge incumbent pricing structures. With Germany targeting millions of heat pumps and EVs by 2030, Nomos plans to expand beyond Germany into other European markets and recently raised $2.1M in pre-seed funding to accelerate engineering hires and broaden its product offerings.
