Nordetect is an analytical hardware agritech company founded in 2016 in Copenhagen that produces portable lab-on-a-chip devices and one-click test kits for environmental and agricultural analysis. Its devices can test multiple nutrients simultaneously in minutes, replacing traditional sample testing that can take three days to three weeks. The company targets farm managers, agronomists, indoor growers and vertical farms that need rapid, easy-to-understand nutrient and water-quality data. Nordetect plans to commercialize its proprietary technology platform and provide indoor and vertical farmers on the U.S. East and West Coasts and in Western Europe with early access to its portable analysis devices.
