Northern Bloc produces vegan ice creams sold through multiple national retailers and venues. Co‑founded by Dirk Mischendahl and Josh Lee in 2014, the brand’s products are available in Co-op, Waitrose, Morrisons, Ocado and Selfridges, as well as in selected arts venues, restaurants and theatres. Trademark holders Northern Bloc received a £1.5 million investment from Mobeus Equity Partners. The company will use the funds to expand its vegan range, grow production capacity and strengthen the team. Co‑founder Dirk Mischendahl said plant‑based is becoming a way of life and positioned Northern Bloc at the forefront of bold, innovative, great‑tasting products. The investment is intended to support the company’s planned expansion.
