Norwegian Hydrogen AS is spearheading the Hellesylt Hydrogen Hub Pilot‑E project to develop a local green hydrogen production facility for ferries, cruise ships and other mobility uses in the Geirangerfjord area. The company was founded by Flakk Group and acts as lead partner of a consortium that includes industry players such as Hexagon. The project’s immediate objective is a start‑up phase 1 to enable local hydrogen supply and support zero‑emission operations in the Geirangerfjord.
