Overview

Notable provides robotic process automation combined with API integrations to automate administrative workflows across healthcare settings. Its platform handles tasks such as clinical note access/updates, billing and paperwork, patient registration and vaccine scheduling. The company says its systems automate “millions” of tasks a year across roughly 350 locations and is most active in the U.S. Notable plans to expand into other markets and adjacent segments such as health insurance over time. Leadership includes co-founder and CEO Pranay Kapadia and co-founders Justin White and Adam Ting, and the company is based in San Mateo. Financially, Notable has raised a growth round this year and previously had raised just over $26 million. Notable offers a voice-powered AI wearable for physicians that captures dictations and orders during visits and automates entry into EHRs. The platform combines continually-learning AI and voice recognition to recommend billing codes and improve data quality. Data from visits is entered into the EHR using secure robotic processing automation. The company said it will use the new funding to expand its AI platform and accelerate hiring across the business. Notable launched this wearable product months before the round and positions its technology to reduce administrative burden and improve physician productivity. Financially, the company announced a $13.5M Series A and has raised $19.3M in total to date. Notable offers a white-label solution for wearables that uses natural language processing and voice recognition to automatically record and digitize doctor–patient interactions. The company is launching its first product for the Apple Watch after a year in stealth. Its technology structures captured conversation data for inclusion in patients' electronic health records, aiming to reduce the more than 10 hours per week clinicians spend on paperwork. Notable's founding team was carved out of Blend and includes Pranay Kapadia, Justin White and Adam Ting. To build its documentation system the team recorded and monitored over 2,000 physician interactions. The company raised $3 million in initial funding to support product development and launch.
