Nova builds a suite of generative AI tools designed to ensure AI-generated creative stays on brand. Its BrandGuard product ingests a company’s brand and style guidelines and runs five models to check brand safety, quality, on-brand adherence, style and campaign alignment, assigning each piece a content score. Customers can set score thresholds to flag content for human review before publishing. BrandGPT provides a ChatGPT-style interface for employees, agencies or contractors to query a company’s brand rules. The two products launched in public beta starting today. The company launched last year and has raised $2.4 million from Bee Partners, Fyrfly Ventures and Argon Ventures. Nova is led by founder and CEO Rob May, who previously founded Backupify, which was acquired by Datto in 2014.
