NovaDigm Therapeutics

4201 James Ray Drive, Suite 2200, REAC 1 Buildings, Grand Forks, ND, 58202-6024, United States

Overview

NovaDigm Therapeutics develops vaccines targeting fungal and bacterial pathogens, with lead candidates aimed at Candida and Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA). Its lead product, NDV-3, contains a recombinant form of the Candida albicans surface protein Als3 and has shown preclinical cross-kingdom protective efficacy against both Candida and S. aureus. Two Phase 1 studies involving about 200 healthy adults indicated NDV-3 is safe, well-tolerated and elicits rapid antibody and T-cell responses after a single dose. The company has closed a $14M Series B to support an ongoing Phase 2 trial of NDV-3 in patients with recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC) and to pursue development of additional Candida antigens. NovaDigm's founding scientists are from the Los Angeles BioMedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA (LA BioMed), and the company is based in North Dakota with additional research activities at LA BioMed. Its work has been supported by NIH NIAID grants and Department of the Army awards, and it collaborates with multiple government agencies.
