Church House Church Lane, Kington Langley, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 5NR, United Kingdom
Overview
Nu:legal offers a hybrid legal-service platform that automates standardized routine tasks while routing legally sensitive matters to specialized lawyers for review. At launch the platform focuses on employment law and data protection, supporting processes such as employment contracts, terminations, privacy policies, data processing agreements and compliance documentation. All data is processed and stored within the European Union and the product is tailored to German and European regulatory requirements. The company released a public beta and plans controlled, waitlist-driven growth before broader market entry and expansion into other European markets. Nu:legal was founded by Bork Morfaw, a former Freshfields attorney who previously developed "LegalGPT," a Legal-AI product the company says reached over 200,000 users. Financially, nu:legal has just secured €1.3 million in financing to further develop the platform and expand access for small and medium-sized enterprises.
