Nuage offers an online platform of social business collaboration and management tools that enable enterprise and business users to communicate, collaborate and innovate in a social business environment. Its solutions integrate social media interactions with business processes such as product lifecycle management (PLM) to provide flexibility and interactivity lacking in traditional management solutions. The company positions its web-based collaboration and management suite as a lower-cost, less complex approach to process management via a social business collaborative application. Following its public launch less than one month ago, Nuage announced an additional $500,000 investment from private investors. The company said it will allocate the funds to continued technology and business development and to capture greater market share. Nuage also plans to use resources to open new markets domestically and internationally and to introduce more innovative technologies aligned with its existing efforts.
