Nubo

71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom

Overview

Nubo builds virtual mobile infrastructure that runs on remote servers and lets employees access company applications and files on personal smartphones and tablets without downloading them. Its thin-client approach places the corporate device in the data center and uses a remote display protocol to provide secure access and reduce the need to secure individual devices. Nubo differentiates with its proprietary remote display protocol, UX over IP, which conserves wireless bandwidth and integrates with phone and tablet sensors so apps resize, rotate, and use cameras seamlessly. Many customers operate in industries with sensitive data, including defense, public safety, and healthcare organizations. The company is Israel-based and was founded by Israel Lifshitz, who previously started SysAid Technologies. Nubo raised $7 million in a Series A and plans to use the capital to increase marketing, especially in the United States, and to expand customer support services.
