Nullspace develops enterprise electromagnetic simulation software aimed at accelerating design for RF systems and quantum computing hardware. Its flagship Nullspace EM targets fast, full-fidelity simulation of large, complex RF designs, while Nullspace ES is positioned for design and analysis of extremely large ion traps. The company intends to use new funding to expand the engineering team, accelerate product development, and scale go-to-market efforts across aerospace, defense, quantum computing, and AI-enabled hardware markets. Nullspace traces its core solver technology to more than a decade of development through IERUS Technologies and says that technology has been tested on real-world antenna, microwave, scattering, and ion-trap design problems, including physical products delivered to the U.S. Department of Defense. Fathom Fund’s managing partner Paul Sheng will join the board, and Dr. Nathan Kundtz will join as an independent board director. The company is based in Huntsville, Ala., and is led by co-founders Dr. Masha Petrova (CEO) and Dr. Daniel Faircloth (CTO).
